Mint Julep

-2 Ounces Bourbon
-Crushed Ice
-1 Ounce mint infused Simple Syrup**
-Mint Leaves

Directions: In a Double Old Fashioned glass add bourbon, crushed ice, mint-infused simple syrup, and more ice if needed. Stir well and garnish with mint leaves.

**Mint-infused simple syrup: Boil 1 cup sugar and 1 cup of water for 1 minute. Stir until all the sugar has dissolved and the liquid is clear. Reduce heat to medium and simmer for 5 minutes. Turn the heat off and add one bunch of mint leaves and allow them to steep for 20 minutes. Strain mint leaves and allow the syrup to completely cool before using.
